Glory to God! It is one of my favorite times of the year. Beloved, we are in the Christmas season and praise God for His abundant blessings. Willow Street Church of God is a place that makes this season of the year a time of celebrating what God has done for us in the coming of Jesus Christ. I am so blessed to be part of this fellowship (on campus and e-family) and appreciate each one of you. Amazing! Our leadership joins me in assuring you that “we thank God upon each remembrance of you.”
Christmas is a time for us to dream of the world as we would like to see it. It is a special time to recognize possibilities because we know God has the power to take things as they are and transform them into what he would have them become. We are game-changers.
Inspired by Dr. Gene Tyre of Providence Baptist Church, located in Georgia, I would like to share with you my list of Christmas wishes that I pray for:
· Homeless to find shelter, medical care, and food
· We reach the world with the Gospel
· Creating an environment that Believers would desire to become Disciples of Christ
· The sick to experience healing
· Those in despair to find hope
· Families will resolve to spend more time together
· For fear to be replaced by faith
· Peace to reign throughout the world
· People to disagree without being disagreeable
· For unemployed to find jobs
· Loving parents to adopt orphans throughout the world
· Our government to be a nation under God
· Human trafficking to be eliminated from the world
· The lonely to find friends
· Tears of joy to replace tears of sadness
· Each person to come to experience the meaning of Immanuel, “God With Us”
I want each of you to know that the Harrison family and the entire leadership considers the Willow Street family and friends a vital part of our movement. We love each of you and are blessed to know you. We are blessed each time we are in your presence. We pray that each of you will have a most meaningful Christmas.
