FAITH, Keep Believing Until!

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1 Many years ago, one of the young men in my youth group bought a 1957 Ford pick-up truck. It didn’t run at the time and hadn’t since. He was going to fix the truck up and started to accumulate parts for it. The body of the truck was dismantled once to use as part of a parade float reminding folks of the potential consequences of driving after drinking, but the truck itself never left his back yard. We all teased him about it, but his response was always: "Someday it will run." Ten years later, this young man, now a young adult, still carries the keys for this truck on his key ring. That’s FAITH!! There are things in the Lord that intertwine and connect with our walk with Jesus, those things that we believe for according to God's will, we ‘MUST’ have FAITH.  Dream, imagine and most definitely write it out in a journal. Not talking about things of this world that will fade, but those principles and applications that build our faith. Listen that strengthen our understanding and walk.  That part!  YES, to God be the glory!  I delight in the story about the young man who carried around the keys which represented “HOPE FOR’ that was in his heart.   Question: I wonder how many dreams never manifested because a person lost hope? I often wonder how folks allow the walk with Christ to break, sever, and even drift slowly away from the very Person who gave His life for them?  Keep Believing Until!     Glory to His Holy Name for those that are walking with a ‘FAITH’ that cannot be demolished, cut off and if even attack...they dream. Keep Believing Until!  To accomplish that kind of determination and focus on growing one’s faith, they would have to perform an in-depth study of self-denial or indulgence. Jesus shared a spiritual principle that was deep. His words were direct, strong and real. “And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.”  Luke 14:25-27  Keep Believing Until!  Young David did. Young Mary, who carried Jesus for nine months did. Daniel and his friends decided not to defile themselves so they could hear from God.  Keep Believing Until!  Prayer:  Heavenly Father, help me not to drift in my faith.  Let not ever my faith and nor cause me to abandon the very thing brings me TRUTH. Your truth and power. Amen! 2019  ‘INTENTIONAL ’ “Just Win the Day” Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."
