Charles Spurgeon wrote in a piece entitled, "The Devil's Last Throw", "There is a name high above all, in hell, and earth, and sky. Angels and men before it fall, and devils fear and fly. That one name is the name of Jesus, the Son of God, to whom all power is given. He is God, and can deliver any man from the dominion of evil, whatever form it may have assumed, and however long established the dominion may be. Cure besides-there is none. Nothing else can rescue a man from the thralldom of his sin but the word of Jesus. When the word of power is spoken from his divine mouth all things obey; but none out of the ten thousand voices of earth can deliver us from evil. We are shut up to heaven s unique remedy: God grant that, being so shut up, we may avail ourselves of it".
Today, whatever you are facing, going through, discouraged by, hurt and in fear of Jesus has been given absolute power. Death has no victory in the life of a 'saved' child of God! Glory! He is TOO LATE!
Luke 9:42 is super powerful in that Jesus, catch this, rebukes the unclean spirit and healed the boy. This verse is a confidence builder in that as we pray for deliverance for a loved one or someone that is held by the grip of sin, 'REBUKE' it in the powerful of Name of Jesus. The enemy believes he has a chance to impede your process to spiritual maturity. He thinks that throwing hell's kitchen sink at you that you would return to your former self, but the Word conflicts, rebuke and causes us to draw near to the Lord. Listen, he is simply, TOO LATE!
