I once read, if you are in a precarious situation, things could become difficult, unsure about what direction to take and maybe even dangerous. For countless perceive themselves as living in unstable or not firmly placed. So they feel likely to slip or lose their grip on things. WSCOG's focus will always be creating an environment for Believers to flourish and achieve spiritual maturity. Whatever situation or season we may be in, we push through. I have witnessed some incredible saints live through some tuff events that rattled their hearts, but they turned to God and pushed through. The Psalmist of chapter 18 shared his thoughts when life was unsure or precarious. He trusted God, cried out to HIM, and allowed his heart to be ministered too. Psalm 18:1-3 (RSV) states, "I love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies". Loved ones, may you receive the encouragement to turn to the Word of God as often as it is presented. Let it soak deep into your souls. I believe the Word was richly received and treasured in the hearts of early Believers of the New Testament. Especially, when they were scattered because they were persecuted for their faith that Jesus is 'ALIVE'! So during any precarious situation or season, cling to Psalm 18 or another favorite, Jude 1:24-25 (RSV) that says, "Now to him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you without blemish before the presence of his glory with rejoicing, to the only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time now and for ever. Amen". Meditation: "The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory". Exodus 15:2 2021 'INTENTIONAL' "The Lord is MY Strength"
