A Word to Remember

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.   Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.   Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.   Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.   For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations." Psalms 100:1-5 (KJV) The joy of the Lord is in our hearts and shimmers in our souls with depths of worship that does not restrain our voices of praise.  Beloved as we end this month and enter May to carry out daily routines in the new normal, we are filled with praise! Hallelujah!  The word I would like to use here is 'parsimonious'. The word suggests an unwillingness to share with others. The state of being frugal. Parsimonious suggests keeping a tight grip on one's money and possessions. Examples of parsimonious in a sentence: A society that is parsimonious in its personal charity (in terms of both time and money) will require more government welfare. O' come on family and friends, you know where we are going with this. God is to be praised! We are 'NOT' frugal, withholding nor absent in making a joyful noise unto the Lord. Glory to His Holy Name!  We are servants of God and our hearts and hands are open. Glory! God is 'GOOD'! We serve Him and are active in His calling with gladness. YES! We journeyed through April and will begin May with open hearts and hands of adoration for His provision and continuous care.  We may be challenged, but we have a PRAISE! Hallelujah! Prayer: Heavenly Father, as I journey through another day closer to May I am abundantly grateful to YOU. Heavenly Father, YOU are to praised and may we always show gratitude for Who YOU are. In Jesus name Amen!  2020 'INTENTIONAL' "You Were Built for This"  Pastor Lloyd
